Once there was a small 2-year-old girl Sadako Sasakai who caught leukemia from the bombing on Hiroshima because she in-haled the radiation. At 9 years of age the doctor said make 1000 peace cranes and she could make wish; she made all 1000 peace cranes and she wished to live but sadly her wish didn’t come true and in 6 grade she passed away .
That is why tradition of peace cranes still remains!!!
