Francis was a survivor of the Atomic Bomb dropped on Hiroshima and also his family had to serve in Pearl Harbour when they lived in Hawaii.
Francis was born on the 25th of january 1930 and his father was a boat builder and a carpenter and his mother worked in a fish cannery, he was the youngest in his family. franchises farther had to help with the war effort so him his brothers and mum moved to japan living their father behind .
In Japan Francis was in the military.One day at exactly 8:15 he saw b 29 bombers fly over head,he just ignored the planes but they flew straight back over.He saw a strange black dot fall out of the plane, all he remember’s was the dot grew bigger and bigger until BOOM…Point zero. Francis was launched up in to the air quit a few feet .He was knocked unconscious he woke up to see what hedescribed as a ghost town.
